A full-time vacancy has arisen to deliver business sales plans by building profitable customer relationships across racecourses, bloodstock and existing equestrian customers, as well as having responsibility for finding and following up additional sales leads.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the delivery of sales targets across print, fulfilment, statistical, bloodstock and digital products.
· Deliver sales targets by building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
· Develop and execute strategies to secure repeat and new business.
· Support the creation and delivery of annual commercial and marketing plans.
· Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and drive informed decisions.
· Collaborate with customers to develop new product ideas for the Weatherbys Product Portfolio.
· Manage mailing services sales in Ireland and the UK, including quotes, bookings, and liaising with internal fulfilment teams.
· Monitor and report on sales performance weekly and monthly, ensuring KPIs and deadlines are consistently met.
· Drive advertising sales across Weatherbys and 3rd party products.
· Regularly review processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer experience.
· Collect and analyse customer and competitor data to support business planning and in particular identify new B2B business opportunities.
· Ensure compliance with GDPR, company policies, and Health & Safety guidelines.
Skill Requirements:
· Previous sales and negotiation experience.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· The ideal candidate will be strongly results driven with an innovative, entrepreneurial mind set.
· Good understanding of the racing and equestrian industry, ideally with a working understanding of the Bloodstock sector in Europe.
· Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise, multi-task and co-ordinate workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Ability to provide accurate and reliable management information to enable a robust decision-making process.
· Self-motivated and flexible.
· Have the ability to continually learn, take on feedback, try new things, adapt, grow and change with the business.
