The Grade 1-winning son of Maclean’s Music has supplied 19 winners from 47 runners in North America and Europe at a clip of 40%. Seven of his racecourse representatives have black type, for an excellent strike-rate of14.9%.

Complexity’s best performers are Richmond Stakes hero Black Forza, Sanford Stakes winner and Champagne Stakes third Mo Plex and Woodbine Listed scorer Mensa. 

His second crop of yearlings were unsurprisingly popular at the sales this year, commanding prices of $650,000, $450,000, $320,000, $300,000, $250,000 twice etc.

Complexity will stand at a fee of $25,000 next year at Airdrie Stud.
