Iquitos is an important stallion son of the late German champion sire Adlerflug, source of superstars Alenquer, Goliath, In Swoop and Torquator Tasso.

He was up there with the best of his sire’s output, having won three Group 1s including the prestigious Grosser Preis von Baden in his racing pomp.

Iquitos will stand at a fee of €6,000 at Gestüt Röttgen next year.
