Britain and Ireland’s champion sire-elect was represented by a half-sister to Group 1 winners Chicquita, Diamond Necklace and Magic Wand who sold to Amo Racing for €3 million at Arqana August, five lots who made 1,000,000gns or more at Tattersalls October Book 1 and a €1m filly at Goffs Orby.

Demand for his yearlings was easy to understand, as he delivered five top-flight winners this year including Prince of Wales’s Stakes and Juddmonte International victor Ombudsman, 1,000 Guineas heroine Desert Flower and Dewhurst scorer Gewan. Besides Gewan, Night Of Thunder’s other exciting three-year-old prospects for 2026 include Group winners Bow Echo, Distant Storm and Hankelow.

Night Of Thunder stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €200,000.
