Weatherbys are pleased to confirm the introduction of a Transfer of Ownership Amnesty for breeders and purchasers at the forthcoming Goffs Ireland December NH Sale, taking place on 8 - 10 December 2025, and the Tattersalls Ireland Sapphire Sale, taking place on 16 December 2025.

As part of this initiative, Weatherbys will offer a free Transfer of Ownership for all eligible foals sold at this both sales, providing a valuable incentive designed to support breeders and ensuring that registration records remain accurate and up to date.

Checklist: Requirements for the Amnesty

To benefit from the complimentary transfer, the following requirements must be met:

• Free transfers apply only on the day of the sale. Weatherbys staff will remain on-site after the conclusion of the sale to assist clients.
• A valid Equine Premises Registration Number (EPRN) must be in place before any Transfer of Ownership can be processed.
• A completed Transfer of Ownership form and the horse’s passport must be presented.
